    Hi All,

I'm trying to work out which if any water block if any will fit my XFX 7950. The heatkiller XFX edition states "XFX Radeon HD 7950 Double Dissipation 800Mhz (FX-795A-TDJC) - PCB VPEAC3861PS8 only"

Unfortunately I have no idea where my box is so I've had to try and work it out via google which isn't going very well.

Below are pictures of my card if anyone can definitely say if it's reference, I need the xfx edition block or I'm s*** out of luck and doomed to listen to whiny little fans for ever more...

    Cheers. :thumb:

Using the EK Configurator as a guide it looks as though it isn't reference.

The model number that the OP has given comes up, on EK's configurator, as a reference PCB :)

Are you sure? The photo of the PCB that comes up for the card (TDJC) isn't stamped as reference and it looks different from the card that is stamped as reference (TNBC).

TDJC is for the heatkiller the OP was asking about.

For the EK configurator, if you check the bottom part of the configurator and select AMD - HD7950 - XFX - On the last drop down the second bottom answer is FX-795A-TDCF, the model identified by the OP in the middle of the images. This is shown as a reference card on the following page, after clicking on next.

So just pick one that isn't specific to a non reference card. :)

Possibly : http://www.aquatuning.co.uk/product_info.php/info/p13073_Watercool-HEATKILLER--GPU-X--79X0.html (Which is for reference cards ONLY)

You could always give them a call. They are a very helpful bunch. Helped me with my first water cooling purchase. :thumb:

    Thanks all!

I totally missed the importance of the "FX" number, too busy looking for the PCB number :duh:

    Still excellent news!

Oops, was looking at the wrong number. Because it's an XFX card double check with the supplier that the block will fit, they sometimes change the board layout but still call it reference.

That's a good point actually - XFX are a bit cheeky at times with layout :)
