    Seen that. He was only about 18 months old and his extra pinkies didnt work but it wasn't half cool.

    I never thought of the extra dimensions as extentions of the last one.
    Pretty obvious when you think about it.

    Dimention/Polydactyly Hikau's anyone?

    Ten is a limit;
    But with six little pinkies;
    Twelve's a further reach.

    Twelve-s a fur-ther reach.

    Anyone fancy some 'light' reading?
    The Elegant Universe

    - Does a pretty good job of explaining the basics of superstring theory, though it took me a while to get through it...
    Really span me out at several points!

    It also mentions '11-dimensional supergravity' :jawdrop:

    Quality! :thumb:

    Ten dimensions, pah!
    I counted them all and still
    gave them two fingers.

    You have to understand the idea of temporal paradoxes. You know, if you go back in time and kill your own parents before they can give birth to you, how can you exist to go back in time to kill your own parents before they can give birth to you...

    You're right, I talk utter tripe.

    try: I feel somewhat inferior being only able to manipulate three dinemtions, but merely exist in the fourth. But being a further dimentional entity surely just opens up loads of paradoxes.

    I had just watched that video and my mind was all "blurrrrb".

    EDIT: Nex can translate my BS, even if I cant.

    EDIT2: The Elegant Universe for £4? Job done tbh.

    True, its kinda like when you know the answer to a question, its easy if you know. I guess all it takes is one smart person to think outside the box and progress is made.

    Anyone who thinks the universe is elegant has obviously never visited an NHS hospital... :p

    Blame the guy who figured we should use fingers to count. Why not count with arms and feet? (5 number system) or maybe heads. (binary!) or we could count with stars on the sky. (OMFG!)

    Came to realize something the other day... if someone ever did manage to "fold the sixth through the seventh", we'd never hear about it. I mean, if you were to pop into our world today, you likely wouldn't be saying "wow man, this is great, hey all you cool impovrished kids, and whoo! War!". I'd likely stop and just say "aw ****"
