Intel are running a modding competition for anyone in the US, Canada and UK (sorry ROTW). Submit your design/plan/idea to them, 7 entries will then be chosen to take part. Please see the tweet below from intel Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Full details of the comp and rules on this page. Lots of talented modders here and maybe there are those of you who stalk the pages, dreaming of one day doing a mod if you just had the chance. Well, here's your chance. Don't think you won't get chosen, they're asking everyone for a small bio and taking experience into account. I took that chance a couple of years ago with the thermaltake case mod challenge, submitted a really shocking hand drawn design but was still chosen because I gave a really detailed description, so they understood exactly what my intentions were. I'll get it scanned and post the pictures so you can all have a good laugh. Designs need to be submitted by the 26th November. That will come a lot quicker than you think so get your skates on. If anyone wants any advice on anything feel free to send me a pm, by clicking on my avatar and select 'start a conversation'. Please don't be shy, please don't think you're not good enough. If I can do it, you can too!!
I should have looked at the site. I already have two designs posted on the page. Bill's a contributor.
I see three familiar names out of the 21 people who have registered so far. The intent behind this Challenge from my involvement is to reconnect Intel with the PC Mod Community. Intel is supposed to boost more awareness next week. Some popular questions on other platforms / sites. Q. Does the design have to be done in AutoCAD or similar 3D software? A. Simple hand drawing or sketch is fine. Q. "What if I never modified a PC, can I still enter?" A. It's ok if you are a beginner or if this is your first mod. Mention this when submitting your design, so the judges take that into consideration.
21? That's pretty quiet. I guess it's better than having hundreds of applications that just say, "put it in a * ". I have fond memories of 4-5 kids arguing and claiming a sphere enclosure was their idea. The salt thrown when I submitted though was the best part.

I have something to submit.. no idea where i even submit... bit of a crap site tbh for mobile.. no wonder so few have entered if they have been looking at it that way like me... Desktop is better! Anyway, dodgy as hell project pushed forwards with hand sketches and things I hope I can do but will likely fail miserably at
Not too many entrants after all it seems.. wouldn't surprise me if Intel extended on this given how few entered and given they are giving away 7 of these kits worth probably around $20k!
My entry is going to be a structural challenge to say the least.. not sure how easy it’ll be to pull it off if im at all lucky with this.
