I like to think my posts contribute well in the majority. It has taken me 8 years to get 10k after all... that IS a long time.
I disagree that quantity and quality can be separated - I think there should be a high honour for long standing members like Pookey because they are clearly here for the long haul and they know that there is more to BT than the Demote thread, LOL.
Ha.. I forget that sometimes. The only reason Bit revoked that was due to a very, very serious illness that took me away from bit for around 9 months. With greater things on my mind.. you know, trivia like staying alive... I neglected to tell them. With not knowing where I was, they just demoted my status. I don't blame them in any way. I've never asked for it to be re-instated either, as I'm too busy these days, and took my role seriously. I used to get up at 6am just to trawl for spam to nuke I wouldn't be able to be that diligent these days.
I knew that! Admittedly, only because it came up elsewhere on the forum since 2006... but I still knew! That means you've posted 50 times since yesterday! There are a couple of ways I could have gone with this, and they've both got so much potential that I did both

It was just a comment in Jest at your low post count compared to the time you've been a member. Apart from a 6 months absence I have frequented the forum near daily for over 10 years and have less than half your posts.
There's only a few people with a join date prior to mine! Deserves congrats all of it's own. That said this is my second account after a name change....one day I'll ask an addy to put my join date back a couple of years : p
Even with your hiatus your post count per year is still higher than mine, its taken me 7 years to get 5.5k, I expect with a higher ratio of spam to useful also... 7 years is a long time.
