Well, IE has started ennoying me so much this holiday, I've finally decided to Downloaded FF2.0

I'm very very happy with it, and have nothing but praise for the program. Anyone who doesn't have it, get it now.

If you ever wanted some feature that was not included Firefox it's likely someone already created an extension. To find them, look at Mozilla's recommended Firefox add-ons page. But don't stuff your browser full like it's Thanksgiving holiday.

Well you can if you want. There's a lot of bloger experiments where someone has installed over 100 extensions at once (Excluding extensions with duplicated functionality) and firefox has worked completely fine except for being very slow.

You finally change your browser and you get that bloated piece of memory leaking junk instead of a decent browser.

Only uses 1-10 megabytes more memory then Opera does, and in my opinion it's nicer then Opera or IE, especially over IE. The only other major browser out there is Safari and its Windows version sucks horribly.

Firefox sometimes grows to 200MB, but that's only if I'm browsing for 5 hours across many heavy-content websites. I think the only plugin I use is one that allows for multiple shortcut bars across the browser header. Otherwise, Firefox is simple, and satisfies my needs.

...The autocomplete f*cks up sometimes for me, but that's the only complaint I have.

Using spare RAM for caching =/= memory leaking

Anyways, make sure you install adblock as a priority, really is the best ever add-on for firefox :D

Hehe, just installed FF on the parents PC and that's the only extension they will ever need. Its weird when you stop using it, you realise how many ads there are and how **** the web is really.

Get Opera mate. Quicker, smaller footprint and has actually invented and implements most of the stuff in fx and a hell of a lot in extentions.
    A browser for champions.

Does opera have a Gmail notifier, Foxytunes, themes worth a damn, an adblock updater that doesn't suck, and an easily integrated stumblebar?

    No?

    Then I don't want Opera!

And its not actually faster by enough to notice.

Did you consider telling opera how much RAM and disk cache to do? I mean, it does it fairly effectively on its own but in special cases like running XP on a lappy with only 64MB of ram, perhaps taking th time to tell opera to use only, say 4MB of RAM would be an idea? Or just make it run everything it can from the disk cache. All options :)
