    Haha looks mental Wira!

This is the Excelsior rocket motor pack from CD7890. They are seriously awesome motors (These are what I meant to post the other day but that pack was good too!).

You'll build much better rockets with these motors.

Super awesome! Thanks for that :D

How about a challenge? Fastest to 100,000m (or the start of space?).

EDIT: Here's my first attempt using only what's availible when you download the game and the two part packs I've posted on here:D. I launched at 10 seconds and hit 100k almost exactly 60 seconds later. Beat it, go on!

with only vanilla parts or all the bits you linked?

I just got a capsule in a sort of horrible unstable orbit, I can see it is slowly drifting away form kearth atm.

What I am proud of though, is the monster that was needed to get it up there with enough fuel left

Hahaha you build very different rockets to me :D.

Well that previous time I set was obviously with Excelsior motors.

It's be more difficult with vanilla stuff, I'd be up for that challenge though :D.

I don't have the mirror sorry. I could just email you my parts folder if you want?

This is my favourite Vanilla rocket. Each stage can be modified a lot depending on what it is exactly you want to do. This version is "Fly as far away as you possible can" spec although I've changed it so the SAS modules on the first stage are on top of the tri coupler instead of above each rocket. Seems to make it more stable.

pm'ed you my email, plz do send the parts :)

    WOW, it's so complicated!

my big design is just based on:
    1. need loads of fuel in space to get correct orbit
    2. need loads of boosters to lift the fuel to a height where the big fuel engine can manage on its own xD

EDIT. did exactly 2:00 without the excelsior rockets (but the first pack)

    http://screencast.com/t/3zffXOOTc

my hunt for speed without the excelsior rockets did get me at least one awesome disfunctional design though:

    http://screencast.com/t/HcX59YJw8ml0

that 'building' did go into space, just not quick enough

    2nd Edit xD:

    1:58 without excelsior

Yeah I'm a bit bored of it now, there's nothing to really aim for once you've hit escape velocity. I tried making up some challenges for myself but just got meh.

Can't wait until there's more to do!

You should check out the official forums. Just reading all the great ideas being thrown about on the Development board is enough to keep me tiding over till v0.9,
