Continue the log... 3 1/2 bays... This is the new location for the Sonatas`s front ports, a 3 1/2 face plate ( But is more than that). The lines marks the maximun measures for the cuts. This is the cut. One of the sides is uncut. Bending the metal, we get a support for the ports pcb, once isolated. The other face plate in the Sonatas`s 3 1/2 tray is ocuppied by this car tunning blue cathode of 3" or 5". Once dismantled... I glued the parts and fill the gaps and others imperfections with epoxy. Then sanded the parts and covered the glass part of the cathode to avoid damages. Behind the lighter plug cap, there is the same kind of cut that in ports place, to hold the cathod inverter and switch PCB. Once painted and almost finished. A piece of decorative black painted mesh for the end of the tray. Fixing the mesh with epoxy (then painted in black) The first test: Originally i gone to put the power splitter in the unsused space behind the ports, but it`s easiest to route the wires to its location on the door. The bays workzone finished and testing... Only rest some minor bugs like paint the blue botton of the cathode and that kind of things. More pics tomorrow!
Finishing the log ´til Xmas holidays end... Te finished Beta Version for test: Flash pics: No Flash- Light pics: The new power and HD leds No Flash - No light pics: The webcam works! Some of the lights effects in my personal logo with no cathode backlite: I wait your coments. And hope your enjoyed it. This is my finished beta version. Still remain some works and bugs fixing. I´ll make a "code/numeric" pad for switching on/off the lights and... hehehe surpprise. Probably remake the lower part of the front and some bug more. but that's all for now. More after Xmas. damn it turned out great, i love the side panel cause the white to blue is attractive, adn the wires are very nice like that, i can';t explain why, but they just look great ^^ good job and keep up the good work.

Little update... Today has arrived my new graphic card a Sparkle nVidia 6600GT... ...Now i`m testing it hardly with FarCry Hehehehe More soon!

Maybe i can upload photos (you could find it useful for modding)... but in few days, i`ll resume this log to get the final phases to finish this mod. I need to give it a special touch, something different, i hope.
