Major pet peeve of mine!

 

Didnt feel like buying another torch, so decided to get something to upgrade my 3xD call maglite. Meant to be 180 lumens that thing ^^

 

Get your self on candle light forums, some nutter upgraded mine a few years back to 1500 lumens, also warms the finger during the cold winter nights

 

Kinda need to when your deadlifting 350lbs+, the last time I forgot to bring mine I ended up with calluses bad enough to practically put me out for a week...

 

Are gloves really better than chalk?

 

But the coolest and manliest members wear gloves!

 

I have used the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8G ED VR II, but only very briefly, and I don't see any difference in photo quality. I would like to have brought the Nikon but I couldn't justify the extra expense.

After using my camera with the BlackRapid over the weekend, I must say I love it. With the heavy glass it is much more comfortable and it is nice not to have the camera always in front of you when your not use it. I do always have one hand on the camera I'm not using it though, just in case!

 

For keeping your hands dry, probably not, but sweat/grip isn't my problem, its physical damage to the palms of my hands...

 

Quite a few gyms don't like chalk as far as I know anyway.

I wear gloves occasionally, as I've had issues with sore fingers from squeezing too hard.

What I tend to wear these days are boxing wraps around my wrists if I'm doing lots of incline/decline bench to prevent me overextending my wrists, which was causing me a lot of pain in the past.

All in black, and talking to a local (ish) silicone hose manufacturer about them knocking the rest of the RS mk1 hoses up for me.

Still umming and erring about one of these;

to replace the K&N that basically rotted off the air intake.

Might just wait and buy the relocation kit version with the pro alloy intercooler upgrade kit.

Fiio E07K DAC/Amp and a Fiio L9 lead to connect it to my ageing iPod touch (on the list to be replaced at some point).

Earphones are some Etymotics HF5 that I have had for a while and custom tips for those are next on the list.

Very good choice love mine. I now want the desktop dock for it though

 

It's a dang good DAC-amp for the money. I just wish it had analog volume control, not a fan of digital controls.
Damn, you mentioning Etymotics has got me looking for a second hand ER4...

2008 Aprilia Sportcity 250

 

Not so much as a purchase as a gift for my birthday / early graduation.

Lenovo u410 ultrabook in graphite grey, specs are:
i7 3517u, 8gb ram, 750gb hard-drive, with 24gb SSD (I believe its a hybrid drive) and windows 8. Heavier than I thought it would be considering its 14 inches, but it feels very solid so the weight isn't an issue. I'm a tad spoiled.
