Yeah there's some stuff out there mate. There's some films on 4K. Amazon is doing 4k, LoveFilm and failtube.

I will only use it with a computer or via WIFI so I'm not fussed about "general" broadcasts as I don't watch broadcast TV.

Given 4k isn't really that much more (and I had some vouchers) I thought screw it. When 4K does hit the mainstream and better/cheaper TVs are out it's easy enough to move that TV upstairs should I be botherd

A Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar f4,5/105mm (attached to a Franka Bonafix). I'll be attaching the Vario shutter and lens to an M42 extension ring to screw it on my Pentax bellows and use it like a digital folding camera. :)
The lens itself is in absolutely impeccable condition, which is quite remarkable considering it's about 60 years old.

I bought a 4GB Kit in order to up my RAM to 8GB.. so I now have 4X2 GB.. I also upgraded my PSU because well the other one didn't have the cables that I needed and it cost almost the same price as a new PSU to get a new cable kit.. it's just not right that it's almost $90 for a cable kit when I can get a new PSU for that price.. So I went ahead and bought a new PSU.. same wattage..

Few last minute treats for feeding the family over Christmas.

...Plus a new boardgame (via Kickstarter) to play with my niece.

My one game purchase so far this Christmas, as it's about £16.84 on GMG (£4.21 per copy):

    Panasonic GX7 with 20mm f1.7

    canon fd 85-300mm f 4.5

Fd to M43 adapter (Gives the above lens 600mm of reach on micro four thirds)

    Giottos monopod

    Panasonic 25mm f 1.4

I'm really loving the micro four thirds gear at the moment. Can't replace my 5D3, but its handy and very portable. (except with the fd 300mm lens on)

Received some M42 extension tubes today.

After a lot of fiddling I managed to detach the lens and shutter from the Franka Bonafix (previous post) without damaging anything and fix it to the smallest tube:

I've just purchased the GM1. I have just the lens it came with. Lovely little camera.

The New Ninja Turtles in 3d Bluray. Regular $40 on sale for $16.99 for boxing week. I really wanted to try 3d and most movies available were full price, or I'd already seen.

Nespresso Aeroccino 3 for the house. It's really simple to use, and does an alright job of frothing the milk.

I've heard good things. I'm more interested in when they're going to start selling it in the UK.
@JaccoW I suppose they are available in Europe then?

I've just bought a Dell U2713HM to sit next to my U2412. It is truly ridiculous in size and I love it. I do now need to find a load of 1440p wallpapers as the 1080p ones now just look silly.
