    2 GB OCZ DDR3 1333 can be had for ~100£, 2 GB Cellshock DDR3 1800 cost 220£, 4 GB G.skill or Ocz DDR3 1600 cost 250 - 270£...
    so its not too bad anymore.

    Indeed, most of that was deciding what to go with next. Still not quite sure on that... I'll need to hunt down Da Dego and see what he has to say on the Tamron. If nothing else, the price tag is a lot easier to swallow than the Canon, and as I'm going to sell the kit lens along with the 400D it would seem close to the right time.

    It works perfect with XP SP3 and my Netgear router, took about an hour to hunt the driver files so i wouldn't have to use the Netgear software, so i could just use windows to do it for me.
