I am quite happy to listen to just about anything. Bit of Mozart or Handel goes down ok with me, or some OST music from Halo/Command and Conquer or any film/game for that matter.

The only type of music i will skip/mute run away from is when its 99% screaming, or 99% same beat that doesn't change from start to finish.

Some 5W30 motor oil. Noticed a bit of substance in the oil earlier this afternoon. Time for a change!

Hey, I bought some 5W30 too, but my car doesn't need a change, it just needs some added oil.

I needed a change since there was some sludge build-up since a change hasn't happened for a few years (car was stored). And after this, that afternoon:

Nice, that is well beyond the top speed of my car. My speedometer only goes up to 110MPH or 177Km/H, but the fastest I've been able to get it to is only 70MPH or 112Km/H. My car is a piece of junk though, 13 year old Saturn. What are you driving?

I can't read what those bottom lights say though.

It's a '93 Lexus LS 400. The lights on the instrument cluster are lights that any sedan owner would usually not (want to) see. They are, from left to right:
ECT PWR, O/D OFF, TRAC OFF, ABS.

That means, from left to right:
Electronically controlled gear shifts for optimum power band, overdrive off, traction control manually disabled, anti-lock brakes malfunction/dead. The TRAC light in the middle of the speedometer means the TRAC computer has malfunctioned as well. It's not all that bad. I couldn't figure out how to turn ABS off before it suddenly bricked itself when revived from storage. The V8 engine generates up to about 250ps, I guess.

I wonder if all of the electronic malfunction affected the electronically governed speed limit.

The best type of music you can get! Everybody I know who listens to screamo/black metal stuff takes themselves so damned seriously, and I just listen to it for the music rather than the screaming - I've had to pick out drum parts / guitar parts from listening to tracks - I've gotten quite good at blocking out vocals/scream-als as and when I need to. Especially funny is watching a friend of yours (who admittedly is into ska etc) at a Napalm Death gig in a small backwater club dancing around like someone from The Smiths - sooo funny! All these metalhead-type dudes standing there going "What the f***?!

Also waiting for GHIII to arrive today

    As well as

    Mass Effect
    A 2100 points card
Eric Clapton Unplugged for one of my mum's xmas pressies

Knowing the postal "service" round here though, they'll all be stolen or something, meaning I'll have to wait like 20 days to file a complaint with the relavent companies. My Halo 3 LCE has gone missing twice so far and when I ring up the post office they don't seem to give two shits. The RM can go toss Satan's salad, worst excuse for a company I have ever seen.
