They're not that fancy... at least half of the worlds electronic goods and quite a few mechanical things are put together with Torx headed screws! You want a set of tamper-proof Torx for the Xbox, for when you go googling.

I bought a couple of Corsair HX650's for builds as well this week. Damn things have gotten expensive :/

Was my birthday earlier in the month and my wife bought me a Porsche. Unfortunately not a car but a kettle. That's right, a kettle. She said it was the only Porsche she could afford.

So, as a present to myself I went out and bought a new plasma tv (LG 50PX990), a new blu ray player (Sony BDPS570) and a new receiver (Sony STRDH810). I also got some speakers for my bedroom at the same time; Boston Acoustics Soundware XS5.1

I'm loving the new setup. Not a fan of 3D though, makes me feel dizzy. I'm also about to make my next purchase, a couple of pairs of LG 3D glasses, £92/pair!!!

Wouldn't furiously squeezing a pile of razor blades be more comfortable ?

Or maybe I'm completely wrong and this mouse would be a revelation to me

It's more comfortable than it looks ;)

'Tis a tad on the expensive side though.

Seeing that your mouse was damaged in transport, I assume you'd be eligible for an exchange or refund, but it does look kinda cool in a techo/terminator/transformer/I'm a little scared to touch it because I think it might be a deadly cyborg kinda way :thumb:

How about performance? Does it move nicely (i.e. no stick-slip) and does it seem accurate?

Yeah definitely, it performed as well as any mouse I've ever used, and moves smoothly on both hard and cloth surfaces (the laser doesn't track on ALL hard surfaces though, so watch out for that). My only gripe was that it's a little on the heavy side even without any weights in it, but then I do have a preference for lighter mice anyway so that won't bother everyone.

I have the RAT 3 and Cyborg V1. The RAT 3 is pretty comfortable and it isn't even adjustable! It's alot better than any of the Razer mice i've had/used although I would still be happier with a Steelseries Kinzu.

I've been on an impulse buying frenzy for the last few weeks, main things I've picked up are...

The Kinect + some games for the 360:

Collection of books for wargames, I guess the collector's edition of Warhammer 40k is the main one as it's my first look into the world of 40k:

A new Dark Elf model for my gaming:

MSI R5850 Twin Frozr II graphics card:

Slight problem with the graphics card though, it's too big for my current case so I can't install it at the moment. Should hopefully be sorted in the next month though.

Holy unnecessarily excessively humongous image, Batman! :eeek: Congrats though. The EVGA 570's are pretty :)

I had to Google that. Just looked like a non-descript bit of aluminium with a clippy bit...
