Am I the only one staring at the daily deals page thinking that F1 2010 logo looks like the driver has just been shot through the chest with a giant frikking laser beam?

Well, I *did* have to mouse over the image, because the graphics reminded me of something more FPS-like.

Got the Indie Mix Pack. Mainly for Defcon though.

 

Should I kick myself for not going for BF:BC2? I'm just afraid it'll be like the other BF games...

I went for it and was pleasantly surprised. Works well. Not too realistic, not too arcadey, just right in the middle. I had a blast last night with it. I'm waiting for Vietnam to become a sale item too

It's not like the original BF series at all. If your up for infantry wars and a bit of camping then it's right up your street.

I prefer massive expanses with a meaty tank to drive rather than leg it and get shot in the head by a long range shotgun shell.

 

Well, I'm still a massive fan of CS in its various incarnations (mostly CS:CZ though), as well as the early CoD games (only played a bit of CoD4).

Open expanses aren't really up my alley... Same goes for vehicles.

 

Sales like this one bring on the scary realisation of how many games I own...

Yes I will still buy a shed load in the next couple of weeks.

I really wish they'd done more 6 packs of games... perfect Christmas gifts for fellow BT members.
