Mount and Blade, worth it? Given that I've yet to finish Mass Effect 1, or start Dragon Age...or Fallout 3...or the Witcher...

 

I am so tempted by M&B: Warband, I downloaded the demo last night and am going to give that a shot now.

Am I right in saying you need to be connected to the net each time you play these downloaded games ?

 

Steam has an Offline Mode too, it's not like the Ubisoft DRM.

Just so people are aware, the scores from Eurogamer (who I judge to be very good at reviews) came in at:

Company of Heroes - 10/10
Opposing Fronts - 8/10
Tales of Valor - 7/10

 

going to give the first one a punt i think as ive never played these and dont want to pay exra for expansions that seem worse than teh original

CoH is amazing. I have the original and the OF expansion though. So I'll definitely buy Tales of Valour.

From what I can see, CoH got an awesome score, then OF was more for multiplayer, then ToV was more for the weird multiplayer options.

I won't be doing multiplayer, so CoH should be enough for me.

 

same here i think, read the first is a must have, then the 2nd was ok nd the 3rd was a bit poor and im like you, just looking for single player campaigns.
have got the first one as its only a tiny saving to buy them all seperately anyways if i do end up liking it between now and monday

Bought CoH, although I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one. I liked it but I don't spooge my pants like some of you guys do.
