About as noob as it gets, may I present my new (first) granddaughter, Ms. Lucy Marie. She's got a great set of lungs and waves her arms enough to play defense in the NBA. Mama is tired, sore and hungry. Daddy survived (barely)... at last report he was planning to lock her up until the age of 30. Lucy is less than an hour old in this photo. The only thing is, how can I be a grandmother when mentally I'm about 16 years old? ;P
Teach her the values of dremels and dremel safety. Maybe she should be older than an hour before she is taught the way of the Dremel, though..
Nonsense. I was reading The Silmarillion to my daughter before she could roll over. Initiation into Geekdom should begin as early as possible. Cute girl, Scirocco. Enjoy being a grandmother! -monkey
Dremels are sharp, though, and in my experience, babies try to taste things far too often :B Maybe reading the operator manual, and scrolling through some bit-tech project logs?
best get ahead of the game, start her on learning CAD/CAM software, in 16 years most of us may have such machines at home in the shed, even consumer grade laser cutters.
turn her into a geek ASAP, we need more geeks in the world. edit: forgot to say that that is a beautiful looking baby, congratulations!
