They sound gorgeous, worth the money just for that in my opinion.
May have to look into getting a set.

Mm, I'm not a massive fan of the look, so wonder if thick PBT caps have a similar sound/feel or not. May have to look into it.

I think the noise comes from the material and the weight so think PBT caps might not do it.

I cannot wait! Also, if I don't like blacks, I'm straight away putting down interest for your Noppoo with blues! :D

I figure you are one for exacting standards, so you'll want to update the layout section with the ` key being grave accent I think. :)

    Yup; you have:

    grave accent (accent grave): è
    acute accent (accent aigu): é
    circumflex accent (accent circonflexe): ê

I have just looked through this thread, and from what you have said Sir Longweight BROWNS are the best choice for those new to mech keyboards. I am in the market for one xD

I am ot a very good typer. I can't touch type or really look at the screen whilst I type at least on a keyboard. Too many years using a laptop. I'd prefer full size rather than a smaller keyboard.

Price wise I am willing to take the higher end price. Will be coming from a Cyborg V5. Which is an ok keyboard.

One question with any of these mechanical keyboards would i be able to press multiple keys at once?

And which manufacturer would you recommend?

I would always recommend Filco as a first board, great quality and lovely to look at! Cost is around £120 for a full size board with browns, would you need UK layout?

Most mechanicals have NKRO so you can press as many keys as you want, quite a few cheaper boards don't though so it is always worth asking before buying!

    Is £120 too much?

£120 isn't too much and I was thinking Filco having read the Mech KB Thread at least partialy in the past.

    UK Layout is preferred XD

I was just looking at that website :thumb: Probably going to buy it at the weekend xD

I like to give things time before I go out and buy them. Simply as I am controlling impulse buying.

I bought my SSD at 3am because I decided I wanted one. Oh and Diablo3 the other day another impulse buy.
