I'm looking for a mid-tower case in which to build my dream PC.

It therefore must hold plenty of watercooling kit and have modding potential, for around the £100 mark (less than £150).

Any thoughts on the Corsair 600T or the Corsair Obsidian 650D?

    Any other suggestions are welcome.

NZXT Switch 810 in white, if you like that sort of thing.
So much space for WC gear.
Change that, just re-read the title MID-TOWER :wallbash:

Depends if you want something plain - LiLi PC-6B, quiet - Define R4, stylised - C70

how many and of what sized rads are you looking at putting in? that'll be a big factor of what you could use. Plus will you be doing the modding before installation or at a later date?

    No worries :D

The Define R4 is too plain for me, and the C70 isn't great either. The Lian-Li looks like a blank canvas, which is great for modding, but the unpainted interior and lack of fan mounts put me off.

I haven't bought any of the watercooling stuff yet, so I was going to choose the case first and then buy appropriately sized radiators. I probably want between 360mm of radiator - whether that means one 360mm or one 240mm + one 120mm really depends on the case. I'm happy to mount a rad on the outside if I run out of space inside.

I'll be modding the case before I install the hardware.

600t is pushing it a bit to call it a mid tower, its fairly big compared to any other case Ive had.

Before I get shouted down for suggesting a mini tower:

Take the drive cage out, put in a 180mm push pull radiator. Put another 120mm radiator at the exhaust and it is your imagination where the reservoir, pump and tubing go.

Do you watercool, I suppose it can take a lot of rads?

It's a decent idea, but I already own the motherboard I'm afraid - and it's standard ATX size.

Cooler master 690 II. It can take 2 240 rads, comes in well under budget and looks pretty good too.

Just reading reviews for the 690 II - it looks very good, I may well go with this. Thanks for the tip :thumb:
