    Wow, after the fun I had with the first one I REALLY wasn't expecting this! I guess it really was a one-trick-wonder.

    yeah liked the first one too.. the graphics were pretty decent- story was typical capcom =] ah well guess sequels are always a letdown anymore

    That's because it's a much better game. LP2 is awful, like most Japanese-games-trying-to-be-Western-games coming out these days. Anyone who'd spent 10 minutes with the demo could surely have seen this coming.

    Lost Planet never really clicked with me. I hated the whole T-ENG mechanic, which is what caused me to never actually finish the game. Not that I really felt there was any need to besides the fact that I spent 20 USD on it. Aside from the graphics it just felt very average.
