Make Paper... things

For those that don't know this is called
Kirigami And its the Japanese art of cutting and folding NOT Origami which is just folding !
I used to do a lot of it (very cheep hobby ) but then i got hooked on technic lego

 

Four Swords is done, much easier, although the instructions were in japanese.

 

V nice, I’ve just printed out metal gear rex and it looks very complicated I don’t expect to finish it for some time.

 

What Jamie did is papercraft or pepakura, depending on where you live.

Jamie, I'm jealous. What type of paper did you use for OoT Link?

I was correcting members that were calling it origami !
Kirigami and papercraft are the same thing !
1 is Jap the other is new zeland and both meant to cut and fold paper were as origami is JUST folding.

for peoples info, i used: 160gsm paper (thin card), and Bostik All Purpose Glue (think UHU glue), and super glue on any tiny joints.

 

Lens head looks great, thinking of making him too

 

Im building Lens Head RB too i actually meant to start that one first because it looked easier, but i picked up the wrong set of prints from my stack

 

dude they look amazing

 

I'm tempted to upscale the ATAT plans so that the largest piece fills an A4 sheet and make a huge ATAT
