hopefully that means a majorly improved planet exploring mechanism,
mass effect 1 was repetitive, mass effect 2 was tedious, hopefully they can come up with a new and better solution
as for the delay, if it results in a better game, i can live with a few months delay.
At least it won't clash with Skyrim anymore!
Ah well, if it makes for a better game then it's worth it. Let's pray for no more delays.
Yeah, mining in ME2 was just...dire.
Looking forward to this, but I can wait.
Oh no... Just... Oh no... If thos turns out to be some EA driven drivel designed solely to make as much money as possible from stupid teenage console owners then I honeslty do not know what I'll do... Pray to Minsc and Boo that that ominous statement turns out to be hyperbole...
It's probably for the best, ME3 was going to get swamped by other games in the pre-Christmas rush otherwise, like the next CoD etc.
Please dont let this mean they have scrapped it all, and just putting new textures on the Dragon Age 2 engine!!!
so basically drastically tweeked for console owners then?!?!
I'm afraid I cannot "Console" myself with the trailer, but thatnks for trying Joe!
More mass market appeal sounds a bit worrying.
I'll get me coat...
Uh oh - a 'rich vein' of humour is about to be 'mined' methinks....
I'm willing to wait, gives me time to playthrough ME2 properly
Other than the mining I ME2 exceeded my expectations gameplay wise. I hope they don't take a step backwards with more mass market appeal. I thought things were plenty simplified. Fingers crossed on them getting the end of the trilogy right too, I'm trying to keep my expectations in check.
And yeah, what's a few months delay if it means they get it right.
So it gets a PEGI 12?
"One of the things that Ray Muzyuka and the team up in Edmonton have done is essentially step-by-step adjust the gameplay mechanics and some of the features that you'll see at E3 to put this in a genre equivalent to shooter-meets-RPG," said EA boss John Riccitiello in an investor conference, "and essentially address a much larger MARKET OPPORTUNITY than Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 began to approach. "
Yeah, the above sure doesn't sound like it bodes well for us
After Joe's scathing SWTOR Preview, he obviously shocked the entire Bioware office into reexamining everything ;>.
After what the other team did to Dragon Age 2..I don't know what to think about this now.
I just hope it has some of the original games RPG elements.
What? I don't see how they could simplify Mass Effect any more. They talk as if ME2 was hardcore or something.
