Hello all. I am about to purchase a Silverstone Temjin TJ08 mATX case. I will be installing an AIO cooler on the rear 120mm slot. As the front fan will be bringing in cold air from the outside, won't it 'clash' with the air being brought in at the rear to cool the AIO?
I realise that BD but was concerned that this would then be exhausting 'heated up' air over the rad. Or would be this a non issue due to the positive pressure set up of this case?
This. Also, your GPUs are at the top, so the big 180mm AP at the front will push cool air directly into the path of your AIO.
Thanks for the advice all. Removing the HDD cages was part of my plan as I only possess two SSD's and no mechanical drives. Should the 120 fan on the AIO come 1st or 2nd in order from inside the case? Or does that not matter at all?
I would have the rad exposed to yourself for easy cleaning. So pull I suppose. Or put one of them dust filters on it and do what you like.
Realistically, it's so flush against the radiator either way that it shouldn't make much (any?) difference. I'd do whichever makes the AIO's pipes fit most naturally.
push configuration will be *slightly* better at cooling...but pull will be easier to set-up. When I ran a TJ08-E case with a H50, I set it up in pull...Temps were fine. As long as you remove (or at least don't fill) the drive cage you'll have no problems with CPU temp.
