They do seem very popular. I bought them from SP too, $42 was a steal

yeah the MK dox's look badman, way nicer than the mass drop ones. I am half tempted to do myself one, I have all the bits I need minus pcb and case.

That filco is really nice, I would of thought you should be able to sell it with caps for, hmm, well if it was mine I would be pretty sad if I didn't get 150.

I'd love one too, everytime I see them go on Massdrop, I nearly click the buy button, I can't justify another board at the moment though

My massdrop ergodox has a hole to access the Teensy button, it was one of the later rounds (3 or 4?) though. (Flashed it before assembly so never actually had to use that.) But the mech-keyboards cases do look a whole load nicer. I'm considering painting my aluminium top plate (I'm currently using the clear top-plate as the plain aluminium just doesn't look right with the Calm Depths keycaps).

Love it! Another NCR has been freed from the MY hell. All hail the G80 conversion :D

When I move I *might* be thinning out my collection a bit, and as you're apparently the most avid cherry fan in the UK I will give you first refusal over my G80-1192HAG :)

I bought a PCB of them (117 + 1x linear Nixdorf white) from Ascaii on DT when he had quite a lot of them for sale. It cost me 100EUR shipped iirc. Unfortunately he doesn't have any left.

10 PCBs of them popped up on ebay.de last week. We organised a little GB on DT, but we were outbid by quite a lot. They sold for about 700EUR for all 10 in the end.

The clear top black switch come from the Nixdorf branded G80-080*, which also came in version with original era MX white, no clear tops on those though. As far as I can tell it was for some sort of terminal system.

Anyone want to shift either (or preferably both of):

    - Miami Set (base, tsangan and numpad)
    - DSA Retro Set (base, tsangan and numpad)

    ?

I am annoyed that I missed the Miami at Techkeys...!

Little question for you guys. My rig update is settled now and I'm focusing on the keyboard now. I'm tempted by a group buys from SP :

    - Commodore 64 : http://www.pimpmykeyboard.com/deals/commodore-64c-sa-set/

I'm interested in a tenkeyless keyboard, light switch and 150€ max (without custom keyset).

Which one would be the less restrictive to buy keycaps set (read: regular size modifiers, space bars, etc) ?

    - Filco tenkeyless
    - Leopold FC660M
    - KBT Poker II

I bet that It'd be painless with the Filco, but I prefear the size of the Poker / FC660.

Edit : Too bad that I missed that granite set : http://www.pimpmykeyboard.com/deals/granite-set-pbt-dye-sub-dsa/

Leopold and Poker II aren't TKL - they are 60% boards. Most TKL aren't an issue when it comes to replacement caps, and I have been looking at these boards with a view to obtaining one.

If you want a 60%, the Poker II or a KBP V60 mini are both good choices...

Yes, I tend to use TKL for both tenkleyless and 60% ... my bad :D. Thanks for the information. I do not use Fxx keys, but hesitating for Ins / Del. This will be used mainly for writting / developping (not gaming).

Aha - no worries - understood!

A 60% board is ace once you learn the shortcuts as you don't have to move your hands from the neutral position really, but if you want quick access to ins/del/pgup/pgdn then a TKL is good.

What switch type do you particularly want? Tactile/non tactile? Probably reds/browns?
