Haha! I feel I caused this confusion. Sorry.

I would have driven to Cheltenham via Stroud (where the Keyboard Co are based) to pick the items up for Shirty, and would then have posted them on at less than the cost of the postage from the Keyboard Co. As it was, I'm not going to Chelters for a while so it's no use. Shirty could have driven from his home in 'Saaf Inglund' to Stroud, but Shirty's corner of Saaf Inglund is 60 miles from Stroud, making the post cheaper.

If Shirty is 60 miles away from Stroud and postage costs £5.40, what colour are Shirty's socks?

If I'd have driven there I would have let myself into their warehouse as an "unauthorised guest" and then driven of in a 7.5 ton lorry full of mechanical keyboards and gubbins.

 

Why didn't you just drive there and pick the stuff up?
