I'm of Armenian descent, I speak Armenian, and 'vor' doesn't quite mean mafia boss. I don't know if it's just a slang term or something back in Armenia, but from early childhood I have known that 'vor' means butt. I asked my parents if it could possibly mean something else, and they told me that it's also a slang term for gay, but nothing like mafia boss.. He's the first 'vor' charged with racketeering in the US. I've literally been laughing about this for the past ten minutes, some Armenian jokester pulled a fast one on a lot of reporters.. They could just be mistaken, because the word for king is takavor, soldier is zinvor, main character is khlkhavor, it means 'carrier' as a suffix.. But you never use it by itself! I can imagine undercover FBI agents going into Armenian gang areas, asking around "hey bros, where can I find an ass?". Likely nobody will find this as funny as I do, but I'll share it anyway.

Well when the authorities got is wrong, and says the wrong the thing in a group of journalist, with the race in trying to deliver the news first, you get that problem.
Eh not so much on a larger scale but some dodgy dentists were submitting claims for treatments to the NHS that patients did not even have, they could come in for a routine check up only for the dentist to submit claims for work like crowns or root canal...be it fake doctors or dodgy dentists people will always rip off a system that is not audited.
