   Hum...two statements from one of my machine suppliers:
   
   

   • Win10 is much more difficult to write drivers for than Win7 (for data-capture cards, machine drivers and whathaveyou)
   • MS is working on an "Industrial" OS, they're waiting for that instead of coding for Win10

   
   Anybody care to comment? I can't assess either
