I did quite like milk at school actually, warm milk actually isn't too bad, the coldness of cold milk takes away a lot of the taste IMO.

Unless it's Weetabix, in which case it tastes pretty good when it's almost burnt.

No, on a cold winter's day (to be eaten just before taking the dog for a walk*), hot porridge with lashings of honey is just the right thing.
Has to be real porridge though, not Readibrek - that's awful, the cereal equivalent of Smash...

    * This is not a euphemism...

Just had cornflakes and rice milk. It's far better than any other milk alternative like Soya.

As opposed to plastic figurines that were collected then binned over the space of 4months? You're 21, these things shouldn't matter anymore :worried:...

I'm just going to reiterate. Please who eat cereals with no milk have no soul.
Hot cereal guys - you also have no soul (unless it's something like porridge).

For some reason, juice in the morning just makes me feel kinda sick. I much prefer coffee anyway to start the day, I need the energy due to my general dislike towards breakfast.

I have gone days without eating anything other than cereal... love it! It has to be swimming in milk though, can't stand eating a bowl full of cereal when the milk doesn't come up to the same level as the flakes/grains/whatever. Add a glass or two of cold pineapple juice and I'm in heaven

Bran-flakes with banana, rice krispies, corn-flakes, frosties, raisin wheats (one of the few cereals I can eat lots of dry), weetabix... I tend to eat about 6 or 7 weetabix in a session though, I can't stand them soggy so put one at a time in a bowl then pout the milk and eat it in literally two bites. Am I weird? :) I'll also have a couple bowls of porridge with brown sugar, but at the minute it's too warm for me. Instant porridge is passable but I love making it from scratch when I have the time and inclination.

The best cereal substitute I've ever heard of was when a friend of mine was suffering from munchies at about 5am, and needed to get his head together in a hurry - take one cereal bowl, fill with instant coffee, add milk. Don't plan on sleeping for about 30 hours...

I've done that before, but 2/3 filling a mug with coffee, and topping up with hot water. Coffee soup.

with milk (2%) - marshmallow mateys (off-brand lucky charms), grape-nuts (lotsa sugar on top), frosted mini wheats, cheerios

no milk - frosted mini wheats (which once to the disgust of my friends i coated with port wine cheese spread), cheerios

i have been banned from ever eating crackling oat bran cereal, as i tend to clear the room and get ugly looks from by-standers. i couldn't even blame it on the dog because he wouldn't come into the room....
