yeah, after thinking about it i decided on black acrylic, just because it gives a nice look and its relatively easy to work with. link here if you're interested
You can invert the screen colours via a small firmware hack iirc, but it doesn't look as good as doing it via the film swapping/rotating method.
wow.. this is an old one. i guess it's possible, but it won't look good as you would get a lighting grid between all the pixels and a frame around everything. Most phones today have color displays anyway, and support for themes.
