I thought the average age of PC gamers was increasing, so why are the products marketed to thirteen year olds?

    Godlike Gaming? FFS.

Good review bit-tech, but MSI what are they thinking?

Seriously £530 on a board with life expectancy 6 months (Z390 coming), on a platform that is crippled by the CPU 16pci-e Lanes + DMI 3.0?
Could price and features could have made sense on the X299/X399 even X370 platforms, but not on the Z370. Anything more than 1 GPU and 1 NVMe like a 960 Pro, on DMI 3.0, and goes to be bottlenecked!!!!! Hell 960EVO and giga ethernet going to be bottlenecked....

I actually can't believe MSI have released another Godlike board. Do they not read any forums?

It hasn't even got a PLX/PEX switch, at 530quid it should be able to do 4x8PCIe lanes, LOL.

A mainboard for a midrange platform that costs more than ultra premium HEDT boards like for example an Asus Zenith Extreme or an AsRock Fatality X299 Professional Gaming i9?

    Good luck with that.

Top top end mainstream boards eg maximus extreme topped out at around 300-330 as short time ago as the z170 viii. However they've always been about $500 and it's mostly the awful exchange rate that has resulted in such high prices here.

It has to have "gaming" in there to follow the trend and appeal to gamers. I wish everyone would do away with the stupid gaming moniker. It's so dumb.
