So it's a peripheral you connect via a cable and then it acts as an input device that is used by sliding it around on a flat surface. Sounds a lot like a revolutionary idea from 1964 called the "mouse"!

It'll never catch on, I tell thee!

No, I don't think it has a cable. Details are sketchy though.

lol, how i read it, its a gba cartrage which you put on a table or something, and rool the ds around while playing. so the ds would be flat to the table with the screens up.

remember those game boy cartridges that had rumble? imagine the rumple part having some kind of surface that is movable and sensitive and you put it on the table and play with it like a joystick.

Thats how I understand it from what I've read. Nintendo should let us have some more details soon though.

Great idea, make a game handheld portable gaming platform that requires a flat surface such as a desk!

Ok, so you end up scratching your DS and table by sliding it around and then when you get a bit too aggresive it slides too far and off the end of table and smashes into bits :)

Then end of your DS and a ruined table. sweet :)
