Playstation 3 New GT5 thread

the last thread is way down the pages now because it got linked to the news article so I thought it would be ok to start a new one.

I take it that's not an ingame shot from the resolution.

 

If its really from the ingame photomode, then yes it is in game. Not quite sure how that res gets involved though? I take it that is shot at that res, and scaled down ingame to view it? but can be transferred using a memory stick or something at the full res.

Yes, in photomode you can take 18 Megapixel photos.

 

Im buying a ps3 for this game

 

the game plays at 1080 but i guess the pics are outputed at higher res. think theyre more processed than "in game"

looks awesome all the same cant wait to get a go with photomode

was bored a few weeks ago. its a list from the power board in TG on the TG test track. not sure how upto date it is got it off the website


and the lacetti, dnt think itll b in GT5 though

 

I couldn't care about anything but how it races. All this tinsel is totally pointless imo.

If I can mash around a real-world racetrack in a supercar like the LFA with my speakers turned up that's all I want. I'm totally buying a PS3 for this game. I've held off buying one for ages, but I can see a slim coming my way soon.

 

This thread reminded me the game is coming out soon ... I just felt a little warm inside

 

I hope the AI final code is harder, also cant wait to get my mitts on the tuning aspect of it, mmmm mustang

 

It's true the AI has always been **** in GT games...

 

i have had some damn good races but its usually been only one opponent whose wanted to "have a go" need the whole pack to decide they want a piece of me

 

What is the release date for GT5 then worldwide?

 

I don't know if it will be release simultaneously everywhere but one of the trailers said November so... take it for what it's worth

 

november 2nd is mentioned but where that means is hard to tell

amazon.co.uk says 2nd november but hard to know

my ps2 controller packed in so my gt nostalgia is put on hold recently got a ps2 and gt 2,3 and 4. pulled out test drive unlimited this week but its not the same at all

 

all the gameplay vids on gtplanet have fairly long load times, hope this improves before its released.

Gotta agree that the eye candy will be for nothing if the game doesn't play well.

Incidentally, who else thinks Top Gear will have to get Clarkson beating an in-game lap time again, Laguna Seca style?
