I'll buy the ZOMG edition (if i have cash and a PS3 by then) simply to win an SLS...
ill be buying the bog standard version. im not huge into buying SE's
yeah but a) it comes with loads of cool stuff and b) i'm a sucker for special editions and boxed sets
Hell yes, Sig E
where can we pre order?
given up on getting a g25 i think, the prices for a second hand one on ebay are crazy. 170/180 when you can buy a new g27 for 230. that and i mainly play on 360, and have alot of racing games so i wouldnt use it on 360 anyway
i bid on a wheel before i posted that yday, someone paid £209 +£5 postage for a used g25 people are nuts!
its a shame you havent had chace to try one, people arent nuts, the wheel is just that good.
haha not at £25 less than a new one
apparently its not out untill 3rd november in europe
now amazon says 26th nove
id say theyve gotten their wires crossed and its the special edition
even the 3rd november is too long away lol
Can't wait for the local PCWorld to show GT5 in it's 3D glory ... depending on the result I might be convinced to invest in PS3D.
some interesting details on gt5
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
I CAN MAKE MY OWN RALLY STAGES!
Or at least generate them still qutie impressive though. Looks like GT5 is pushing me towards getting a ps3 though i doubt i could justify one for just one game.
1: Those people can't drive for ****.
finally preordered gt5 on amazon woop woop
playing nfs shift at the mo to tide me over. im actually enjoying it since ive moved to in cockpit view
£250 just for GT5 is a bit much, .
And my G25 setup wouldn't work as its on a 17" monitor and my 1080p monitor is my main PC monitor and xbox screen.
will november never come!
really really hope the game isnt a let down, getting too excited
Here’s a quick overview of what’s been discussed in the TGS 2010 GT5 breakout session:
Laguna Seca has been completely rebuilt and will return for GT5. Trial Mountain has also been confirmed.
“Gran Turismo Anywhere” will allow you to manage B-Spec races, right from your computer. You’ll be able to hold B-Spec races with your friends from anywhere in what are called “Remote Races”.
GT5 will feature a series of special events such as the Karting Experience, the AMG driving school, The Stig Challenge, Jeff Gordon NASCAR School, Sebastien Loeb Rally Challenge, and Gran Turismo Rally.
Point-to-point rally stages will be automatically and randomly generated – you’ll have to depend on your co-driver to give you the best instructions about the road ahead.
Rally mode can be played either on or offline.
Weather changes include temperature differences, air pressure changes, and humidity, affecting the surface conditions of the track dynamically.
Weather conditions are randomized. Forecasts for your race will be available but may not be entirely accurate, just like the real world.
Polyphony Digital has helped Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey design the X1 Concept – an
“ultimate” racing car, free of any technical regulations.
Polyphony Digital has worked to improve engine sounds.
Yamauchi admits that, in certain situations – such as standing race starts in the rain with 15 other cars on the screen kicking up spray in front of you – the game may not be able to hold 60FPS. Otherwise, it will strive to hold 60FPS as often as possible.
The Volkswagen Kubelwagen, which has a drive system like the first beetle, and the amphibious Volkswagen Schwimmwagen will be in the game.
Many things didn’t make the cut in Gran Turismo 5, and work on Gran Turismo 6 has already begun.
