:) I'm soooo pleased with this game :)

50% throttle and brake sensitivity is too much now I'm running more powerful cars. 30% on each is far more manageable.

And I am a demon with the McLaren SLR...

So, I may want to take this online later. What's it like to get a race going with you good chaps?

I would but I'm not very good. Perhaps a race in more manageable cars?

I'm pretty rubbish though so may not be a very good benchmark.

Also if anyone wants to add me to Steam, feel free as I don't have many pc gamer friends. I'm 'bluespider42' there and on GFWL, ...and most other places/games actually.

Really getting into this game now, but has anyone else having inconsistancies with force feedback, I have turned down the spring and damper in profiler but it doesn't always seem to work in game and can change from one race to the next. Anyone else experiancing this?

Not that in particular, but there are a lot of similar bugs I've experienced. Sound cutting out, car setups getting replaced/lost etc.

I managed to pick this game up for a tenner the other day (it was used, but amazingly the guy I spoke to on EA live chat was more than happy to provide me with a new code free of charge so I could use it online :)).

I must say the game looks awesome so far. I've found the handling OK (once I installed the patch anyway), although it can still be a bit iffy at times. I haven't done any fiddling yet though, I'm just using the 360 pad with default settings. Might hook the G25 up a bit later and see how it fares with that.

Feel free to add me on Autolog - my user name is the same as my forum name.

    I've tuned it to:

    Steering deadzone 3-6

    Steering sensitivity 55-75

    Speed sensitivity 80-90

It takes so long to tweak it's unbelievable, but I'm getting it close to a nice stable control setup.

Rogan - are you using a wheel? and if so would you mind sharing the settings used in profiler or whatever, I keep playing with the settings but not quite happy yet. smc8788 - added.

I'm using the following settings from this thread with my G25:

Overall I'm pretty happy with these settings, they're a massive improvement on the stock settings I was using up till now, especially when trying to control oversteer out of corners. The only thing I might change is to lower the force feedback a little more, but it's not bad as it is.

My times seem pretty good anyway....

thanks smc8788 I'll give it a try later, I think my problem with inconsistant ffb is in having the 'allow game to adjust settings' ticked.
