* Keep a firm grip on the Wii Remote at all times. * Make sure people and objects are out of the range of movement before play begins. * Players should keep at least 1m (3 feet) from their televisions. * Players should dry their hands if they become sweaty or wet for any reason. Those statements amuse me, would one not think that without being told? Guess they need to cover every eventuality to avoid being sued.
It's like being told to wipe your own arse after having a ****, on every packet of bog roll. Or to "remember to chew the food contained in this product, otherwise you may choke".
I was on holiday in turkey at a 5 star hotel, on the hair dryer it said "do not use in shower" to me that somes up the stupidity of some people.
I do believe that sort of instruction is required for Americans. Was it MacDonalds who had to start adding a label that said "Warning: Hot Liquid Inside" to their coffee cups after being sued?
Yes, but that was a valid lawsuit - the coffee was served at about 250ºf, which is WELL beyond what it should have been served at. But even still, I wouldn't fail to put a warning on a product for CYA purposes were I making anything. Never underestimate the power of an idiot with a lawyer.
Everyone on every board I have seen is saying how stupid these people are, and some of these fools are suing by the way, so who are these idiots?
