    Hello there,

In the run up to Christmas, NRG IT is offering the users of the Bit-Tech forums a discount on the Dell U2713HM 27” monitor on our website (www.nrgit.com). So, if you’re looking for a present for somebody (or yourself) then don’t hesitate!

    Discount:

    £30 off the Dell U2713HM – Previously £389. Offer price = £359.

This is £659 from the Dell website, so don’t pass up this opportunity for an absolute bargain (if the original price wasn’t already)!

    {param}

In order to claim on the offer just do the following:

    1. Buy the monitor in full from our website £389 (www.nrgit.com – this offer is only eligible on our website).
    2. Send us an email at sales@nrgit.com (or you can PM me on here) telling us that you've bought it as a result of this thread and state your Bit-Tech forum username along with your order details (Full name, delivery address, what you ordered and the transaction ID, which is stated in your order confirmation email) and we’ll refund the amount of the discount.

    Easy!

Providing we have enough stock, this offer will run up until Thursday 20th December (15:00 GMT), which is the last day we will be shipping out orders (for any orders going outside of UK Mainland we recommend ordering by Wednesday 19th or earlier to try and ensure delivery before Christmas; adverse weather may affect delivery times).

Please note that this offer only applies to members of the Bit-Tech forums who have a post count of 50 or more and have been registered since November 1st 2012 or earlier.

Hope to hear from you soon and Merry Christmas!

    NRG IT

Awesome offer - have some rep! I wish I had the money to take advantage of this - even if I did, I'm not sure I would have time to build up a sufficient amount of boyfriend-points to persuade the GF that I needed this...

A minimum post count / join date might be an idea, due to people creating accounts just to claim offers like this?

    Cheers, fuus

OK. Yes very true. What post count do you think would be good to set the limit at? 50? With a join date of at least a month ago? I'm sure you guys don't want to be inundated with people joining just for this.

Done. Thanks for the feedback Williz. Are you sure you don't need one to watch films in the kitchen? Or maybe the bathroom?

Thanks for the comment Parge :D I set it at 50 and I think I'll just leave it at that. I probably shouldn't revise the conditions too much!

I know the feeling! I'm seriously considering breaking into my savings to get some new tech. It's been a long time coming!

Haha. You can't blame a man for trying :p

This man knows! Thanks MSHunter :D

Dell U2713H or Dell U2713HM? There's a quite a bit of difference. The latter is the one that has been around for a couple of months now with a panel akin to the U2412M, while the former is a brand-new monitor with 1.07 Billion colours (probably an 8+2 bit panel) and a 14 bit LUT that can do 99% of the Adobe RGB colour spectrum.

Hi azrael. Thank you for pointing that out. It is the U2713HM that is on offer. We haven't had the newer version through yet, so I assumed wrongly there. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks again.

No problem! It's still a great monitor and a great deal. :)

I'm sure she'll understand when you show her Assassin's Creed 3 on it :p

Thanks again azrael. All sorted now. If I didn't have a U2711, I'd be very tempted by this. I think it's probably a better price than I could usually get, even with staff discount!

Damn. I don't think that picture helped with the thread rating.
