    Hi guys, I need recommendations on two graphivs card which is quite interesting lately.. GeForce GTX560Ti or HD6950.. According to some reviews that I read, that two graphics card give simmiliar performance;

    Both cards also have the same price range.. That makes me more and more confused.. Please help me decide which one should I buy..

    I have a 6950 and I'm very happy indeed with it. Most of them unlock into a 6970 which will perform much better than a 560ti. Just don't buy the MSI Twin Frozr version as that does not. Stick to the stock cards with the dual bios and you should be in luck!

    Both are good cards, the 560 looks to be a good overclocker and the 6950 can be flashed with the 6970 bios, im sure i read the 6950 is better for dx11 but the 560 wins in dx9 &10, i think your purchase comes down to what you prefer nvidia or amd

    ati cards are generally very well optimized for crysis, as memeroot said
    do you want 3 screen then ati or do you want 3d, also you might like physx in which case you can only go with nvidia, both are good cards, but if your at all bothered about noise then I'd say the 560 is a bit quieter than the 6950, from what I've seen both cards seem to be similar on price, but even if you flash the 6950 to a 6970, with a bit of tweaking 560ti's have been beating even 6970's when you overclock it :D

    my opinion I'd choose the 560ti

    560 for resolutions up to 1920x1080 with AA

    6950 for higher resolutions.

    I went with the GTX 560, performance wise they are very similar, so Nvidia won my money simply because they seem to get involved with a lot of games and so 'by coincidence' tend to have less issues/better performance than AMD.
    But, if you plan to flash teh 6950 to a 6970 it may well be worth going with. Nvidia only wins with me when price/performance are similar, if Iclearly get better for my money then I go with whoever sells it

    A 6950 can be flashed to a 6970, but a 560 can be OC'd to a 570's level of performance. For me, the 560 wins as it's cheaper and I generally find Nvidia's drivers to work better.
