    What would people ues them for? is it really powerfull enough to run anything meaningful?

    I don't think the kids in developing nations are trying to run Crysis

    Did they ever shift any of the older units (from a few years back)? After the initial media hype I never heard anything at all...

    It's been a reasonable success: according to the company's CTO, the original XO laptops "have been distributed to more than 2.4 million children in 42 countries and in 25 languages."
