Unless you meant that ysale-pro being an unmitigated idiot is, among multiple hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions and therefore probably the most accurate - which is of course entirely possible - I think Hanlon's Razor is the term you were looking for here.

I hadn't paid much attention to this thread but have skimmed it and looked at the listing I couldn't help but

I shared it with some friends who have also had a jolly good laugh at this sad excuse for an ebay listing. This guy is was clearly dropped on his head when he was/is a child.

Obviously I changed the letters to stars. I'm very tempted to send him a message back acknowledging that 'Yes, I am a mother F****r and that it was his mother and that she enjoyed it'. Unfortunately my GF is trying to get me to curb my more antagonistic tendencies so I won't.

 

I would heartily recommend replying as you suggest, but not telling your GF

And I might have got away with it if wasn't for the fact that the GF was reading over my shoulder when I opened the the page to read your reply. Well that and those meddlesome kids and that flaming dog. I mean I get a job as a caretaker so I can afford an over priced computer in a tacky acrylic case and the next thing you know that flaming green van turns up and I'm arrested by the police.
