TBH who didn't know he was full of it when he claimed phase change cooling for a system he "wasn't allowed to overclock."

I do think the point has been made here now, it's right but wrong in another sense, I don't want this thread to be ruined by this act of ludicrousy... anyone in their right mind wouldn't EVER try and get away with something like this. Please, lets just drop it for now and let Jesse reflect on what he has done to his credability.

In an attempt to divert this thread back to a more serious (or at least topic related) note....

When y'all are running Super Pi, are you setting the priority for the process to real time? I'm asking because I was just playing around here at work and shaved a second off of this machine's time by setting the priority to real time. Granted this is a P4 2.4B and it changed the time from 73 sec to 72 sec and probably wouldn't do the same for your sub 40 sec times...but I just thought I would mention it. :D Just trying to get an idea of what kinds of tweaks y'all may be doing to get the very best time possible.

I've tried realtime, and it does work yes... if I can't get it stable with realtime, I drop it to highest priority and then down and down til it runs :D

It might be an idea to get a superpi tweak section going :hip:

I'm using quite a few memory tweaks in the registry too

Are you willing to share these tweaks, or is a google requried! Tweak section would be good... Aiming for a sub 48 time when i get back to uni... not sure how achieveable it will be tho....

bigZ - I noticed now, you made a mistake. My 39s time was with a regular XP2800+ Barton, not a mobile.

Damn bigZ it looks like your having sooooo much fun with that :D I only wish I had the space and the money to do it here. Maybe when I move house, then I can get a room of my own, atm the PC is in the living room. I dont think the missus would like a frost maker next to the sofa :hehe:
