no, I'd say it has a 50% chance of dying within 2 months, 75% chance of dying within 3 months, and then 99% chance of dying within 6 months.
also increase my 3dmark up by nearly 100 points with a bit of tweaking http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7136251
Tomorrow i should have some new times as im the proud new owner of a Abit NF7-S so im going to see what sort of difference it will make. Should be able to increase the fsb to 220mhz from 185 and mayb more head room for overclocking. As well as my new modded case with 8 extra fans, might be better than 49s
this isn't the spanish inquisition Would be nice tho as its very impressive and ull be hailed as the overclocking king! or very lucky BigZ - just thought of something. Why dont u take the time of each indervidual and put it in your first post along with thier clock speed?
If I get chance tomorrow, I'll do this mate, gotta be up early and gots a lot to do tomorrow, I'll have a go though! May take a little time Cheers buddy! I still think there might be a bit more in this chip, I should be able to lower the voltage on this speed tomorrow after 24 hours burning in If it works at a lower voltage still, I'll be trying for 225fsb (ish) I'm limited to a certain extent by my RAM, I don't really want to have to drop the 2-2-2-11 timings down, it'll do 2-2-2-11 up to 230Mhz, so I'll hit a ceiling at some point It's whether it'll post at 230x11.5, I'm taking it gradually, so not to damage the CPU by putting too much voltage through it too soon to force more speed out of it. I seem to be able to get better overclocks from being patient and slowly increasing speeds, two days ago, I couldn't post above 2400Mhz (after a saga over me trying to get more fsb from using d10 rather than d18 bios) all of a sudden, I'm over 2500Mhz by a good distance, with exactly the same voltage, and I have a feeling there is still a little bit more to come from this baby
What the error 'NOT CONVERGENT IN SQR' stand for ? Took my FSB from 156 to 157 and I get this error. Altho the temps remain the same, even 2C lower actually at full load.
Increased the voltages by 5% error went away, and I upped FSB to 158. Cpu @ 2853 MHz Volt = 1.504 to 1.536 Temps = 52-54C at full load (same as before)
It means there is a calculation error due to the CPU not having enough juice to perform stabilly at that particular FSB
and what's that supposed to mean? I'm getting close to the end of my teather with your constant thread trashing, it's beginning to piss me off if you didn't already work that one out for yourself... back on topic again I can hit ~2.59Ghz with this baby, but sadly, it's not stable enough for 24/7 running. This was more for the overclock than the superpi score, as you see, no improvement with an extra 50Mhz core speed
Just got my ne board in and got it down to 44s, quite pleased but ram needs to be upgraded now. Can get 230 but just reboots
i'd just like to point out that it took me 1m 32s. XP 1800+ JIUHB @ 1533.4MHz (nought point four megahurtz overclock, yo) 512Mb PC2100 MSI KT3 Ultra2 *n
