You let the cat out the bag man?
I was thinking maybe so too!
FFS Cool, do you mind mate? You just adding to the 'to do' list now.
OK don't worry, you ask, tomorrow... I got this!
LOL i can’t help in man, it’s this damn attention to detail OCD thing i got.........anyway quit your jibba jabba and get one made
In fact get a few made with different logos so we can all share the love
Sorry for the lack of an update. We have been busy working like mad and spent the weekend at LSUCS LAN 44. For more info check out the website here:
We attended this event to showcase our cases but also to help raise funds for the special effect charity:
We auctioned a Parvum ITX with all money going to the charity. It has been a great little event. A couple of photos of the LAN:
For all who want to see Magnus, we will be updating the thread start of the coming week!
Hope you all had good weekends?
Lan looked good mate! As is Titanfall. Been smashing it now I've got that new SSD. Will have to try come to the next one.
Update coming along nice, will post the update tomorrow!
Fully recommend the LSUCS LAN, all go go!
C'mon J, don't keep me waiting!
Im off tomorrow, so if need be Ill drive there and look at the update for myself
Rear of case complete!
First up then some cables to connect for the raid card. 8 sata cables in fact! MOARRR cables
Connecting the raid card water block to the top GPU block:
Next rather large task was to start connecting all the crazy pass through's in the bottom of the case:
Now for something we have been planning since the start. SSD heaven. In the form of 8 as you may have already seen Hyper X SSDs. These things are amazing. Physically/aesthetically the best SSDs I've ever seen and used and from what I gather the performance will match any other drives out there. Black with orange drives? Not here thanks!
A cheeky shot of the icydock! This will be really useful and fills that spot great:
Last for the update we managed to get the back of the case finished. 95% complete at least. All cables and wiring for the build finished. All fans routed to the required fan controllers, all other cables filtered up the frosted cable cover. Nice LED strip installed behind the cables to make some nice shadows. Again to match the front 4 more Hyper X SSDs. This is a massive focal point for the build. We really wanted to show these drives off:
That's all for today. Honestly though this update was huge for the build. Not TONS of eye candy but just completing the lower loop and ALL the wiring was a HUGE task.
Until next time.... do you like the back of the case and what are you all watching on TV?
Look epic J, looks a lot different from when I popped in a few weeks ago.
As for TV, nothing, I dont watch TV........ Though I do have a DVD Series of Generation Kill on ATM.
Can't wait to drool over it at i51 fellas! Be sure to film it when you fill the loop.
Bloody hell......absolutely AMAZING and kind of puts my attempt of showing off Kingston SSD's to shame
Seriously though, it's looking crazy good
Super, super nice.
So, when can we buy one of these?
Thank you mate! You'll have to come see it again ASAP. It's really coming together now.
Ahhh slacker. Start watching True Detective. I have been, it's awesome!
we cant wait to show it off. It will be demoing some stuff on the Asus stall in the day then with me in the evenings!
We will we will! We are getting a hold of more cameras for the moment
Ahhh don't be silly, I must be honest, your Kingston SSD mount was the initial inspiration to do the same for this build!
Lets see how it looks at LAN?
Super super.. super sharp!
The case? Eventually , the full build? Unless someone offers me £15K+.... it will be staying with us haha.
If that is about the police or investigations J I can't watch it, get too critical!
Alright mate, calm down!
/facepalm, just ask Pexon we watched road wars, predicted what would happen
This build is just unbelievable! absolutely awesome job!
