I knew looking in this thread again would be a mistake, I want water cooling again now :(Even though I really don't need it:hehe:

Also is that a hard drive popping out the top of the case?

I'm getting seriously tempted with the XSPC H2 especially as someone has explained to me how to reorient it with minimal modding so that the motherboard is in the standard position.

I'd have to replace the screws with button heads though. I really don't like the look of the thumbscrews.

    For £350, thats £200 for...nothing?

You can fit at least a 360 if not a 480 rad in the drive bays of the Elysium ontop of the 360 in the roof!

I like it because it can easily fit 2 quad rads in. I like the clean looks of it too.

I have to say I've had my eye on that for some time also :thumb:

An investment rather than an expense however with the new processors running ever cooler even at higher speeds, plus my recent experiment with my Phantom build and sandwiched radiators proving to be so efficient...

The only thing that would allow me to purchase one would be vanity and seeing as I have a triple roof rad modded TJ07 still boxed (be it needing remedial treatment owing to the botched powder coating).

My plan is to put the 360 in the roof and a 240 in the front (lovingly supplied by 23RO_UK :D ) and possibly a 120 in the back (also supplied by 23RO_UK) but I think the 120mm may be wasted really...

No, you can get a quad 120 or a triple 140 in the bottom and probably another triple 120 in as well although I'd prefer the space for pumps and cabling. Another quad 120 will bolt straight into the top.

A lot cheaper than importing a Mountain Mods or Danger Den case though.

The problem is that there isn't that many cases that will accept quad rads and very few that will accept 2 so the XSPC fits the bill for that and I also like the simple clean look. After saying that I also like the look of the Elysium (mostly) and would have considered it otherwise.

I don't think many systems need that level of cooling though...

Mine doesn't need anywhere near it but the extra rads mean I can run my fans below 800rpm and still have low water temps at load. While it's not silent it's very, very quiet. For me it's a hobby though and with this system I'm always looking to improve it just out of interest. Only enthusiasts would want to spend hundreds of pounds just to knock a few degrees from their temps. With my other systems I didn't bother too much as long as they ran at reasonable temps.
