I am getting a TJ07 case from scan but unfortunately they do not offer a powder coating service. Can anyone recommend a service ideally in the Hertfordshire area to avoid having to pay shipment for the case?

Couriers usually aren't that expensive, shouldn't be too much to get it sent out.

ChilledPC, WatercoolingUK do powdercoating, where they're based? Haven't the foggiest.

I would NOT recommend chilledpc for powder coating a little while ago they where cropping up alot on these here forums for there shoddy workmanship and crappy customer service. One particular case in question (ha get it?) :| some poor blokes tj07 was pretty much butchered by there powder coating department

Thats a slight understatement, shame I can't find the link to post the pics. It will be put right though and look like a million dollars when it's finished.

Cheers guys, I was actually going to use chilledcpc until you showed me that. I didn't see any link on the watercoolinguk site for coating. Is it a custom service they offer?

I may have made a mistake with WatercoolingUK, couldn't find it on there site, I'm sure they did though. Best bet would be the yellow pages!

Find and ask a few local alloy wheel places. They tend to be cheaper than pc specific places.

I've had my local one do loads of pc work over the years

It's to cover all the internals of a tj07 for my water cooled build. I'm tring for a black and red theme to go with the Maximus IV mb so having the case black is important. Need to find some red non uv tubing to go with my xspc black tubing as well!

My personal recommendation for anyone in England is these guys. They've done a few bits and pieces for my customers and I over the years when my local powder coater hasn't been available, and they have been consistently brilliant - I've never had a single problem with their work or service.

If it's just a black powdercoat you want just have a look for some local industrial powder coaters - I'm sure they'll be able to sort you out for cheap as long as you're flexible around their needs.

Well they did the powder coating job for me at £60 VAT inc. Gotta say they have done a superb job. It's very clean and a perfect match. Highly recommended for anyone within range of them.
