Hi Bit-Tech My Prodigy was fun but limited on the expansions department. BF4 needs a bit more grunt at 1440p as a single 680 can deliver... Hardware : Case : Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 with Window Mainboard : Asus Maximus Vi Gene CPU : 4770k : RAM : Kingston Beasts 2x8gb 2400 cl11 : GPU : Gtx680 2gb used in the Prodigy + a second one. Sorage : Crucial M4 128 , Crucial M4 512, WD Scorpio Blue 1Tb PSU : Corsair AX860 Cooling : CPU Cooler : HK3.0 Black Nickel with Upgradekit from S1366 to S1150 Fittings : Bitspower 10mm Barbs Black Tubing : Clear and Black Tygon 15.9/9.5mm GPU Cooler : Watercool Black Nickel Hole Edition + Backplate for the first 680. If SLI performes well, the same package for the second card Pump : PWM Laing DCC Controller : Aquaero 5 XT with Black Faceplate Fans : Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition Reservoir : Aquacomputer Bayres Radiators : Magicool 360 + 240, each 45mm thick Color Theme : This was the hardest part of planing all this. I was really torn apart, and went backward and forward between the hardware options, but as you might guessed till now, it´s gonna be the old and bored red-black theme with a twist of white. To cut a story short, that´s what happened in the last weeks... Got the case and imediatly took it apart. Mainboardtray and 360 got a foil wrap job 240 Rad got some foil treatment, too ODD Drive bay lost most of it´s length, it´s now only 40mm long PSU went in Aquaero got it´s black frontpanel, Bayres will get a black foil jobby, maybe the Aquaero too. Could do that in gray(ish) fake carbonfiber, but I´d guess that would not look soo good MDPC-X color X is an awsome color match to Asus R.O.G. red Made some sata Power cables for the SSD´s on the rear of the Mainboardtray. 3h of work, and no where near perfect. Damn Redid the some Wires of the 8Pin and 24Pin in matching color of the sleeve Really crappy picture of the Cpu block on the Mainboard. Will look good, I´d say. Just imagine the mirror´d Heatkiller in the Backplate of the GPU... Pics of the sleeved 8Pin Cpu plug, that´s what happened last weekend. This week the SP120 should arrive, so I can finish the bracket for the front radiator. Once the second 680 arrives, I can remove all the WC stuff from the Prodigy and move on working on the Mini. Thx 4 Listening Mike
took some pictures after testfitting the new rams and I could not resist to just put the cpu block into the case The tubing in the Picture is/was tygon, will be replaced with new one, but for testing bends in the loop the scappy one does it´s job Thx 4 Listening Mike
I changed to the Dark side, can I have a cookie? New Res Body is needed, same stains that made my clear tygon look milky Flowmeter got a wrappin job, too Radiator bracket done. Thx 4 Listening Mike
Aqualis is in and works. Dunno if I can fit a propper Fillport in the top of the case or if I keep the fillport Flyin Allmighty HK3.0 Still a stunning beautiful CPU block Front with Radiatorbracket, the 2 screws on the right side hold the mini Himuro Side Aquaero Backside Lots of wires are still to be made, hopefully I get my 6+2Plugs this week so I can crimp the missing GPU Power
Not much. Cut the ODD Cage to fit the 360 and the Aquaero. Radiator bracket for the front Custom wiring for all HDD/SSDs plus a bit of Sleeving, more to come. Aqualis bracket That´s it, not everyone can go full P0pe or mbk I´m allready pleased when I can fit a propper WC loop in a small case, which does look a nice and is not a mix of 8 colors.
