lol dude you cant really go and say "any1 who wants to make a CF case is copying my idea" its the same as saying that any1 building a wooden case is copying from greensabbath. as long as you got access to a specific material, why not use it? unless of course someone is stealing your ideas and clearly copying your own projects, that is a totally different case

    Well if you insist :)

Its a small one though since i didnt have much time this week (much less than i expected anyway

Well i got some work done on the project. First of all i finally got the LCD screen for the front bezel. i made a CF skin frame for it and installed it. The installation was quite a B@$%H but eventually i got a pretty tight fit. too bad ill get to lit it up only when i complete the assembly (dont worry i checked if it works before installing it)

The LCD is a crystal-fontz-like 4x20 with blue backlighting and white characters

I also installed both front and rear 120mm fans and began working on routing the wires (which is pretty damn hard since i never thought about it when working on the case) ill remember to plan everything through in my next project though

Ye ye i know that thermaltake sticker is ugly, dont worry ill cover it. ye and i still need to sand the CF gril a bit to get rid of the mesh sticking out

So from now and on its just taking care of all the loose ends and bring it to perfection

Nice SSR. V nice, A quick question, is the U-channel stuff you've got round the fan hole soft or hard? The stuff I have is quite hard and doesn't go into a nice circle like your does.

the one on the pic is very soft i got it with the hexagon mesh when i ordered it from ebay. i also bought some c-strip from frozencpu, its made of plastic with small cuts all through it to make it easier to take tight corners

    Thanks everyone :)

hujambo_Bwana: dont remember really how much was it i believe around 1.5$ per feet

arkadur: im not sure yet about the screws, i might change them but the current ones dont look that bad either

Another update for you guys, i took the panel home with me today to see if everything works (well mostly the LCD) and apparently it does!!

Here are some pics of the bezel in action (Bulgin switches are not connected so no lights)

Wow very nice. I think the front fan would look better without the mesh tho!

    Thanks everyone!

tkdwarrior: it does bother me a bit actually, maybe if i knew the angle of the view at this screen was this small i would look for a different one. on another hand it costed me 5$ so i really cant complain :)

customh: define hard :). it really depends on what tools you use to cut the carbon. with 0.7mm thickness it wasnt too hard i just went a few times over it with an exacto blade and snapped it then sanded it to the desired shape.

Nice work, I like the colors and my favorite part of this case is probably the front plate thingy, with the 2 Bulgins in it. Looks pretty nice, keep up the good work.
