Inspired by a friend!!! This is my cube case that was seen in another post, this has been stripped. From the front From the side From the other side From the top And both side panels, the round window is recently added the custom window has been replaced with green plexiglas. A couple of 80bg SATA drives (Soon to be stripped and polished). Video Card with all its ram intact  It is a 5600 Ultra FX Nvidia. The water blocks, GPU, CPU and Chipset, also Resovior and Radiator. A stripped Gigabyte GA-KNXP, with chipset fan removed and no fan on CPU, also ram is 1gb of pc400 with heatspreaders. Other parts that will go in include, DVD Rewriter, DVD rom and Creative Audigy 2 ZS. Another shot of the water cooling kit, complimented by a POLISHED drive (Buffered actually) :banger: Motherboard and Video card with the water blocks attached. The pump is capable of moving 1200litres per hour with a head of 1 metre. Thats about it for this first installment, but i will leave you with a shot of my Linux server at home, it ia dual pentium 3 1gig, 1gig of ram and 5 SCSI drives all relatively small. There is also another project inview, the clear case called "Project ranoutofideas" FT
Sweeet (/me loves cubes ) The thing besides is a second powercircuit (spelling) part of the makers dual stategy (dualbios etc)
Yup, balder is correct, to see exactly what it does go here GA-8KNXP It is a very good board. A little update for you. Latest small update. Needed to cut a hole, so here it is. Hole is cut and cleaned, any ideas what it is for??? It is for a water reservoir. Here it is. It will stick up about 3inch above the case level, let me know the pump is PUMPING!!! Thats it for now FT
Ok update 2, Had a little rethink, (Had a little help also) project will now be called BlueEyes! Thanks who ever you are! Anyway here is an update on it so far. A secondary Radiator will be added at some point, but room is getting a little tight. But it will go in! It WILL go in. LOL The backside of the rad, not sure whether to repaint it. Mmmm.... The new hole i cut tonight, who knows what it is for? A closer look. Have you guessed yet, wierd hole aint it? Sanded and cleaned. (Ish anyway) My stripped PSU, everything has gotta match, black and blue. And to top everything off a little more abrasive polishing followed by smooth polishing. Thats it so far tonight. Stay tuned. FT
Sweet! My guess on the hole: For Cables, for Resevoir, for fan? Other than those, I cant think of anything... yet... Keep up the good work! Nice case!
Yup, spot on. The lcd is quite long and only just fits under the centre divider in the case, but with a little gentle persuasion it should go in I hope anyway Just painted 2coats of black, two coats of laquer, going to wirewool the laquer tonight then add another coat hopefully that should be enough to get rid of just a couple of dull areas. FT
Sorry missed this one It is a gigabyte DPS, (Dual Power System) No idea what it does but it has a couple of blue led's in it. So it is cool in myeyes. Used a heat dissipating spray paint from tetrosyl, apparently it is what they use on their radiators. It will be all black soon
damn man, nice work... i like the switch on the rad... pretty good place to put it... but you would have to open your case each time you wanna turn it down or what not
Man, I have to stop drooling over watercooling kits and how awesome they look installed. Not to mention the noise reduction, and cooling gains. Black and blue eh? That will look very cool. Any ideas on what color your water will be? I'd think a few drops of blue food coloring would make it fit in well.
Hey I have the exact same motherboard as you, has alot of features but not very good at overclocking, miracioulasly tho mines running at 960 MHz FSB. and BTW nice job so far
**Update** Project has undergone a name change - "Blueize" Just done a little more work. Changed the green plexi at the top for this blue color that you cant really see yet. On this one the paint looks really bad - it looks great in RL. Wierd. Gonna attack the PSU now, allready cut a hole in to let cables out, Looks a lot of work to me - and it was. Not too sure i even like it now A close up of the LCD. And how it looks now i have finished for the night. Watcha think? I can figure what is up with the paind it looks really deep and good in real life as the last pics show FT
Thanks for all the comments. Water will be UV Blue, all cables inside will be red or black - going to try and hide as many as possible, but its kinda hard in that case with the board being right in the middle. Switch on the rad will be always on, hopefully FT
nice mod I love these cube cases. That looks very L33t. I got an idea for hiding your cables. Construct a duct to feed the cables through so a minimal amount will be visible. I do have 1 question tho. I c u have the hydor l30 or l20 pump. I would like to know how quiet are these pumps and how realiable they are since im concidering geting me a L30 soon for my next project.
