Gold + cobalt. It suddenly sounds a lot nastier to me than it was with just the acid. :worried: Take care.

Hey guys, its been a while...well today I want to give you an update after all this time. I am currently in the progress of finishing the build and I am almost done. Only custom 12V 2x6 cable is TBD and I am waiting for the last Caseking delivery of coolant.
I want to highlight the reason for the expansive build time for this project. I just kept getting new ideas and added features I needed new skills and tools to fulfill. In the end this build included a lot of 3D printing ASA, airbrushing, more electroplating, and I even learnt how to CNC machine Acrylic on my 3D printer. All in all this kept adding up to the time line but now I have finally reached the end of this journey. I will give you guys a more detailed view, once I have access to my PC again, if you would be still interested but for now I will give you this GPU teaser sent from my smartphone. :) 4090 Master with EK block. Completely gold plated / painted white. I am very proud of the cnc machined inserts made of acrylic mirror. Hope you like it aswell :)

Good to see you back. :D
The gold plates rate you an extra skill point since mirrored acrylic is almost always extruded. It's very hard to NOT melt it.

Now the build is completely finished! :) Here is a list of some of the custom stuff I made for this PC:

ASA 3D Prints + painted white:
-10x LED Rings for eLoop fans
-Vertical GPU bracket as replacement for stock IO shield and mounting brackets to case
-Mounting for reservoir to 120mm fans (stock one did not look as nice, and was the wrong hight)
-various covers, spacers and brackets here and there

CNC machiened acrylic parts (Dremel mounted to my 3D printer):
-all the covers at the back of the case
-housing for System Panel Display and mounting point for GPU
-gold mirror inserts for GPU block

    Gold plating:
    -GPU Block
    -CPU Block
    -RAM Blocks
-End caps of top and bottom Rads

    Other stuff
-all black parts of GPU block, res, eLoop body, all 3D printed parts painted white with airbrush
-all custom cables using supplies from MDCP-X (custom 12VHPWR cable as well)

    Hardware list:
    -Gigabyte 4090 Master
    -Gigabyte X870E Pro Ice
-7600x (maybe upgrade to 9800x3d in summer when prices come down, can't afford to spend that kind of money now)
-blocks all EK, CPU EK Supremacy Evo, RAM Monarch X4, Vector 2 GPU block
-Watercool Heatkiller Tube D5 -Secondary pump res DCP450 in the back
    -Alphacool 16mm Acrylic Tube
-mostly barrow fittings, some formulamod, alphacool, aquacomputer, XSPC...
    -fans 10x eLoop 120 -2x Watercoolrad 360s, 1x alphacool XT45
-Status panel display 6.2 inch bare LCD with HDMI controller from aliexpress (custom backlight voltage regulator, stock was very dimm)

Opulent! :D It's a very pleasing overall build. Even the cable sleeve works well. Usually, there's some random wire or something that could be done better, but you've taken great care with everything.
