Wohoo! We have passed reply nr 500! :D

ok then I'll apply one more coat of black :) the orange peel will be wet sanded away so it's flat...

yeah leeum, I think it's important that I'm happy with the paint or else I will regret it... I could continue to spray the door, but since I have allready
sprayed 19 coats or something, I think it would take a whole lot of paint...

I am so looking forward to seeing this one done. The whole thing has been filled with original ideas and near professional attention to detail (*ahem* etching *ahem*).

thanks a lot for all the great response!

but right now I'm very worried.. because I have now sprayed the top panel one more time. and this time it turned out grey and mate just like the side door! I just can't understand what's happening! i have sprayed with aproximately the same amount of paint each time, and all the previous times it turned out better and better (more and more shiney).

I'm going out now to check if the last layer turned out the same way... I really hope it's shiney again!!!!

damn! I have checked the paint and it was mate gray where it was dry! I have applied another layer now. does anyone have any idea of what the mate gray might be a result of?

I m not an expert in painting but i think you should sand a bit the surface where the grey is ( very low grit ) and retry again.. an other thing.. shake your can of spray for 1-2 mins , i once had the same prob . Hope i helped you..

now that is a honest try. thank you very much! when I think of it... I think I didn't bother to shake the can for more that 10 sec.. I have applied another thick coat now. and I shook the can for atleast 1,30 mins.

    Paint is healed!!

Yes!!! the gloss is back! and now it's better than ever!! since just shaking the can worked on the top I'm gonna try it on the door aswell. man what a great day this is for my computer! first I got to cahnge from Visual basic programming to C++ programming at school. then the internet speed came back (3,3 mbit) and now the paint is turning out great! :D

when my mom and dad comes home from france I'll post a picture of the primed dragon door :)

I've got some problem with reflection thing , you can see the reflection uis not equal :

There's no paint on my front panel, just primer, btw you can check what it does with the first coat on the side panel :

    How?
    1- Bondo the surface
2- Sand it with 80 or 100 sand paper
3- Put water on your surface (to see if there is any problem)
4- Sand it with 220 paper (to correct any "line" made by 80paper)
5- Put water on your surface, if there's no imperfection go to point 6, else go to 1
6- Sand your bondo with 400 or + paper to make it very sweeeet.
7- Put a primer on it
8- Sand the primer with 1000 sand paper
    9- Another coast of primer
10- Sand it with 1000 sand paper.
11- If you want put another coat, else paint it
    12- Second coat of paint
13- Put any clear or wax on it.
14- Have fun with your mirror paint !

    Any question ( mrbigplow@hotmail.com ) Happy to help u

I know my english suck hard !
