Next arrived the first items for my watercooling setup. MANY thanks to Aqua Cooled PC:

The res is awesome, it has a hole in the bottom for a blue LED (supplied) and just in my opinion looks really stylish.

If anyone has any experience with prepping watercooling parts please post and tell me everything I need to know as this is my first ever stab at watercooling.

    Thanks all for reading.

so it looks like 'B' is winning so far then :). I'll probs ask again after its been painted. On that note does anyone know a good car sprayers (in England :p) as I don't want to risk falling at the last hurdle so to speak.

Thanks a lot Bill as well, making of the bezel was a lot harder than I thought, and thanks as well to you as if you can remember you tried to help me find the perfect case to mod in the begining (the cheiftec dragon).

Thanks all so far and I'll post some ideas of places where I will mount the res today.

I then filled in a few tiny gaps in with some superglue (this will be sanded down later):

Ok I need people to suggest where to mount the res that I have, the case will be yellow outside and blue inside :cooldude: with UV yellow liquid and UV blue coils (spot the theme :p)

That reservoir looks nice, and the color scheme sounds great. Why are you hand sanding, rather than using a block?

I'd want that reservoir visible. What about some scheme to mount it half in/half out of the back panel? Crazy idea, I know, but wherever it is, it should be visible (but not on top like that, unless you're doing a lot more to the top than I can see. :)

Lo all again and soz for the lack of update recently.

Ok well this evening I got down to some serious sanding :p to get the case ready for tomorrow when I hand it to the sprayer :D

My sanding stuff :D and my workbench/chair:

Ok so the wet and dry sanding began. I started of with some 400 grit as I had previously gone over it with some 240 grit:

When that was done I changed the water and started with the 600 grit:

Got to work on the front bezel as well:

I then touched everything off with some 1000 grit:

Then I got down to drying:

The finish, still really happy about the straight jigsaw line. It may not look 100% straight in the photo but in real life the eye can hardly make out any problems with it:

I'm not too bothered about particles being on the panels as they will wash it down again and sand it a bit more apparently

The nice contact with the home made ducts and the fan holders:

    Case as it is:

Next update will be when the case is back, but I’ll see if I can ask nicely and get them to take pics of the painting process.

    Thanks all for reading :D
