Rads primed and working on the top coat now
Mayhems makes rads now? Cool! Looks like a nice unit.
Ye they seem decent, unfortunately I can't test them yet cause watercooling.co.uk can't get an order to me having paid on 26th Feb for an in stock item!
Rant over, the rads are painted and ready to refit:
Incase you weren't aware, EK have released a water block now:
Thank you, I wouldn't have this case in black to be honest, it isn't very pretty, but it is very functional!
It's on my GPU already with backplate
Ah nice, did it come with a backplate? EK site aint very clear.
Radiators all fitted now, 8 hours work and it doesn't look much different
Hopefully the remaining compression fittings will arrive on Monday with the EK chipset and CPU Blocks
Paint job looks great! The back plates are always a separate purchase, for EK anyways. They have quite a few options for 970/980 back plates, so they don't come bundled with the blocks.
No, unfortunately backplate is separate. Are you going for push configuration?
Ah cool, hopefully I can grab a white one =)
Ye the fans are set up as push, will wait and see how the temps are, but i suspect having had the gpu and cpu going through a single 240mm on my previous build, that the temps should drop nicely no matter what
Decided that the green pcbs of my pcie adapter for the Samsung XP941 needs to be less green!
Currently painting the lower side (visible) white, fingers crossed
So i decided to paint the reverse of the PCIE adapter for the Samsung XP941 as the green wasn't really fitting with the colour scheme
and my assistant (or so he thinks)
Waw Jack Russell!I have one too
LOL its a Beagle puppy, my wife keeps calling him a Jack Russell!
I think Royal Mail have lost my delivery with my fittings
Oh no,sorry to hear that
Thanks, at least I got some of my goods today!
My blocks arrived
EK Supremecy EVO
EK Asus M7G
Your assistant is cute.
Spent some time today working on the cable management around the motherboard tray and got the CPU and Chipset blocks fitted, just waiting on those compression fittings to arrive today, had an interesting chat with watercoolinguk.co.uk today which ended in no more information on where the hell the fittings are:
Ek Supremecy and M7G fitted
Relocated the 24 pin ATX connector from above the 240mm radiator
