Well heatsinks anyways... that's really about it. And only if you're the type that would watercool the overheat protection resistor on the motherboard lol Although the old passive heatsinks are great since they're so big Great start so far
ha ha ha thats sweet destroying hardware. i have a moniter that just craped out on me i'm debating what to do with it, and i love the case mods you got planed, looks very good, ca't wait to see them finnished
agreed, use Macro. Come'on we want more modding! hehe i noticed that you have plans to have a Res (aquatube etc..) on top of your case. But the psu would get in the way...
Hehe, thank you I will start modding on this weekend I bought couple of components from Starkki today Iron mesh, Iron panels etc.. Images are coming.. Tomorrow I will buy some components from Biltema (some kind of wheels, more tubes, UV-green spraypaint..) It's only a decoration on top. Thank you for info. I will put that on my mind. Thanks all for comments
Iron Mesh = has been cutted I cut the iron mesh about ~1-2 hours by using the tongs. I haven't better tool when I were cutting this. My hands are now full of blisters and one gash came. I made some good food after I finished the job Next step: grinding the iron mesh And here is also the iron panel:
As I promised.. I got holder for camera so here is some better night / day pictures: Tomorrow, maybe I will install the WaterCooling System.
Ok, here is a new plan which is called "Table-to-Table". I will make a new table to my current table's above. There is a place for amplifier, speakers, extension cords, monitor, keyboard, mouse & pad, case, modem & hub. All in the same place, and the cables.. I will put them clean. There is a "advertisiment" point and the adver.. will look like this: Got again a problem in WaterCooling System and the seller is in Assembly '04.. so phone doesn't work. Maybe in next week I will install it...
GJ so far! Last pics looked much better quality wise. As far as the fans. More info on them would be needed to make a conclusion on which is better; however, I like the Antec fans well enough. I won a bunch at a lan that were tri-color , it is easy to remove the lights on them though. They look much better that way! Keep up the good work.
Update 19.8.2004 Okay, I've been little busy b'cause I started first class in senior high school. I received also new order from Verkkokauppa.com. Here is a list from this order: - Akasa Paxmate 1 (sound insulation packet) - Sunbeam Anodized Thumb Screw Green 2x (10 thumb screws in 1 packet) - Sunbeam Round CCFL UV Green - 80x80mm - Ulti-mat mousemat - Logitech Internet Keyboard oem/bulk black/ (old keyboard = broken) Also I got wrong processor block from Coolputer in first order so I sent wrong block back and got new and right block: I will install it in this weekend IF I HAVE a little bit of FREE TIME..
No offense! BUT! I think you should focus more on the paintjob! This one was rather shabby! You should first use a very fine graned sandpaper and brush the whole case! Then you should apply primer. Sand the primer down with "1000 graned" sandpaper, and then you paint the whole thing with the color you want. And at the end you should apply some clear coat and then polish the whole thing. Just a little piece of advice
Yea.. That has been on my mind. I will paint it better on tomorrow, if the weather is good (I have no paint place on inside of the house)
Your english grammer was off on that sign dont know if that concernes you but thought i would throw that out just in case.
Update 20.8.2004 Yea.. WEEKEND! In school.. Studying sweden last 2 hours, yugh.. so boring, but the weekend came happily! I made today little Wiring & Painting job. Tomorrow I have to go to Säkilä (finnish city) so the WaterCooling Installing will transfer to sunday, sorry. Painting Job I started with water grindpaper and I perpired front panel about 1hr, b'cause old paintjob was bad. I finished perpiring, and then I painted again front panel with bright silver. And the RESULT of this "hard" job: Next step on this front panel is painting mesh with UV Green and make "drinn" text with green color to top of that USB-place. Wiring Job I made also little wiring job. Must make more wiring job sometimes when I have time to wire.. And I took couple of night shots again I will make next step on sunday.
